Hi friends, Dan here. At Art of Infra your privacy matters. Here's how we do things simple and straightforward:

🔍 Analytics with Umami

We track visits with Umami, a self-hosted, privacy-first analytics tool. It:

• Does not use cookies.
• Does not collect personal data.
• Anonymises IP addresses for aggregate stats like page views, referrers, and regions. More info available here.

This is so we can see what’s popular without spying on you. No creepy trackers.

🌐 Cloudflare Proxy

We use Cloudflare to protect and speed up the site. You’re technically visiting Cloudflare’s edge before hitting our server. They:

• May process IP addresses and use necessary cookies for routing and security.
• Do not sell your data, only use it to keep this site online and secure.
• Honor lawful requests only - no sneaky data-sharing.

Bottom line: it’s here to protect - not profit off you.

📧 Emails via Mailgun

When you sign up or get an email from us, it's sent through Mailgun. They:

• Handle our SMTP and send analytics like opens, bounces, clicks - so we don’t spam and keep things running smoothly.
• Are GDPR‑compliant, ISO 27001 certified, and SOC 2 Type I & II audited.
• Keep your email safe and follow the rules, but know that click/open tracking is part of that.

If you’d rather not have those email stats, just let us know, we'll dial it back.

🚫 No Third‑Party Tracking or Ads

We’re independent - no crazy ad networks, no tracking beyond Umami, no selling your data. If we use anything new, you’ll hear about it here.

You’ve got power:

• Unsubscribe from emails anytime - link is in every email.
• Want your info deleted? Just ping us at [email protected] and we’ll handle it.
